General Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales – Folkbooking BV.

Official ticket sales: Tickets for events of Rapalje Festivals Foundation and Rapalje vof. are sold exclusively by Folkbooking BV (hereinafter: “Folkbooking” or “We”).

1. Definitions

  • Copper: any natural person or legal entity that purchases a Ticket via Folkbooking.

  • Organizer: Stichting Rapalje Festivals, or the party that actually organizes the Event in question.

  • Event: any performance, festival, concert or activity for which Tickets are sold.

  • Ticket: entrance ticket (digital or physical) for an Event.

  • Platform: the website(s) and checkout of Folkbooking (including folkbooking.com and subpages).

2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer, order, payment, and delivery of Tickets through the Platform. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by Folkbooking.

3. Offer & information

We display the date, time, location, any age limits, seating/standing information, and (if applicable) permitted/prohibited items. Obvious typographical errors are not binding.

4. Prices, costs and transparency

  1. All prices are before payment shown in full, including VAT and all unavoidable costs.

  2. Service costs: are listed on the website for purchasing a ticket.

  3. Any insurance costs: optional and specified separately before checkout.

  4. Any additional costs (e.g. payment method) will be clearly displayed in advance.

5. Order process & delivery

  1. The agreement is concluded once payment has been completed.

  2. Tickets are generally delivered digitally (e-tickets via email/download). Please ensure you have entered a valid email address; also check your spam folder.

  3. Immediately upon receipt: check the date, time, and number of tickets. Please report any errors within 24 hours via info@folkbooking.com.

6. Right of withdrawal excluded

There is no right of withdrawal for leisure tickets with a specific date/time (Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code). Therefore, orders are final after purchase.

7. Access & house rules

  1. A ticket entitles you to one-time admission for the specified date/time.

  2. The Organizer may impose house rules (bag checks, noise levels, film/photo restrictions, alcohol/smoking policy, etc.).

  3. Illegally obtained or copied tickets will be declared void.

8. Resale and commercial actions

Resale is permitted only with the express written permission of the Organizer/Folkbooking. Use for commercial promotions or contests is prohibited without permission. Tickets may not be offered for sale above face value unless legally permitted and expressly authorized.

9. Loss, theft, misuse

Store your tickets safely. If misuse, duplication, or fraud is suspected, you may be denied entry. In case of loss or theft, please contact us immediately; replacement is not guaranteed.

10. Changes, postponements and cancellations of events

  1. Change/movementTickets remain valid for the new date/time. Unable to attend? You can request a refund of the ticket price, including service fees, within 30 days of the announcement.

  2. CancellationIn the event of a full cancellation by the Organizer, you will receive a refund of the ticket price including service fees. Refunds will be issued within 30 days using the same payment method.

  3. Expenses outside the Ticket (e.g. travel, accommodation) will not be reimbursed.

11. Liability

  1. Attendance at the Event is at your own risk. Folkbooking and/or the Organizer are not liable for loss, theft, damage, or injury, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness.

  2. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the Buyer for the Ticket (per Ticket), except where mandatory law requires.

12. Payment & Chargebacks

  1. Payment is made via the methods offered on the Platform.

  2. Unwarranted chargebacks will be billed; access may be blocked until payment is received.

13. Customer service & complaints

Questions or complaints? Email info@folkbooking.com with order number, name and event. We will respond within 14 working days.

14. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data will only be shared with the Organizer and parties necessary for execution (ticket checking, payment processing).

15. Intellectual property

All content (text, logos, images) on the Platform and in Tickets is protected. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

16. Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure (including extreme weather conditions, epidemics, strikes, government measures, security risks), the Organizer may adjust, postpone or cancel the Event.

17. Fraud prevention & security

We may refuse orders or request additional verification if fraud or abuse is suspected.

18. Changes to these terms and conditions

We may amend these terms and conditions. The version applicable at the time of purchase applies to that purchase. The most recent version is available on the Platform.

19. Applicable law and forum

These terms and conditions apply Dutch law applicable. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Folkbooking is established, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
